I'm completing my Bachelor of Education (Primary and Middle) with Honours, and this semester I'm required to keep up to date with reflections of my learning, understanding, and progress as I prepare for a research project, my final prac, and attempting to get a job.
These are my thoughts.

3. List your important outcomes of schooling

outcomes I believe should be the point of schooling

Learning to be a community member
Developing relationships, recognising healthy relationships
Becoming ready to function as a person in society
Learning to respond to peers and authority
Learning skills for the real world - being literate and good with numbers
and maybe passing some tests. (I understand the importance of learning, but passing a test, especially a nation-wide “are you good enough” test, should not define a child.)
